As Vancouver’s longest-serving mayor, Gregor led a bold transformation: making the city one of the greenest, most livable in the world, with the strongest economy of any city in Canada. Under his leadership, Vancouver earned global recognition for job creation, affordable housing, and sustainability — all while becoming the world’s first City of Reconciliation, forging deep partnerships with First Nations and immigrant communities.

For a decade, Gregor chaired the Vancouver Police Board, helping bring crime to historic lows. Alongside police leadership, he championed the Four Pillars approach to drug policy — prevention, treatment, harm reduction, and enforcement — and consistently pushed for more federal and provincial action on mental health and addictions.

Before City Hall, Gregor served in the BC Legislature, and built successful clean-tech companies in food, agriculture, and green construction. Today, he represents mayors around the world at the United Nations, helping cities and countries work together on climate and clean energy.

Now, as the Liberal candidate for Vancouver Fraserview–South Burnaby, Gregor brings deep experience and a track record of getting things done. He will be a strong voice for the middle class, for good jobs, thriving small businesses, and a better future for everyone.
